About West Design
 Diane West
Diane has been designing websites since 1995. Her programming knowledge extends
to HTML, DHTML and some JavaScript, but her design knowledge goes far beyond
that, with nearly twenty years of varied design experience, both in Web and graphic
design. Two areas of special interest in design are — color and typography.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Art (Crafts) from San Jose State University
(1978) and a Master's Degree in Graphic Design (and a minor in Interior Design)
from Texas Woman's University, Denton, Texas (1993).
Diane has also taken Technical Training classes in Photoshop, GoLive, Director,
FrameMaker, Flash, and Javascript.
Dennis West
Dennis
West grew up with the computer industry—specializing in field
service, in the area of reliability/maintainablity at a number of major corporations
over his long career, including Xerox, National Semiconductor and Motorola.
In
his second career, after taking a few years off to try his hand at real estate,
he is back designing and building databases and back-end systems for websites
and web-based applications. His programming skills pick up where Diane's leave
off — ASP.net,
DotNet Nuke, SQL, VBScript and so on...
When Dennis is not working on his current programming project, he's reading
books on his iPad.
