Hopefully, there’s a “down the road” in your business future. Planning for now, then, and in between, can go a long way toward making that a reality, and strewing that road with milestones of success. We all know of someone who decided to have a business, so they chose a name, rented a store front, spent way too much on advertising in the wrong places, or not at all, then wondered why no one came. Or, if they did come, never returned. Today, anyone with a business is pretty sure they need a website. However, they don’t ask themselves some important questions that make the difference between a website that truly serves and helps build their business, as opposed to one that is merely a bookmark in the world-wide web. The same can be said for newsletters. You need to take a careful look at why, how, and when they can best be used. Websites and newsletters are tools. With planning and guidance they can be used skillfully to truly build your business and help it flourish. Having a “plan” is what makes the difference. Many of you don’t know what to ask yourself, or exactly what to do with the answers. That’s where I come in. My mission is to come up with the right questions, help you look at the answers, and come up with a plan that will result in a website, newsletter, and possibly other marketing materials or sales activities, that are connected in a way that brings you greater business success and return on your investment.
